The Spanish PCPs societies AEPap and SEPEAP asked families their support through the internet platform Change.org for their campaign "CONFIANZA" (TRUST).
More than 150000 parents signed demanding the Spanish Health Administrations to guarantee children and adolescent's right to be cared by paediatricians at the primary level.
Budget cuts and poor working conditions compromise the successful healthcare model for children and adolescents in Spain, based on primary care paediatricians, a model that has shown to be the best in health results and highly valued by families.
Families trust primary care paediatricians and ask politicians to maintain the model of healthcare they consider the best for their children.
